Walking up Nerudova I passed Schwarzenberg Palace ,seen this building before and it still impresses me .Constructed between 1545-1567 ,this palace building was built on the site of several dwellings that were destroyed by the Great Fire of Prague in 1541.A great example of Sgraffito design ,this palace building looks absolutely amazing ,it's a building that adds to the joy of walking down Nerudova .

Lunghissima fila al cancello per l'entrata al Castello di Praga, nessuno all'interno di questa galleria. È decisamente sconosciuta ma visitarla offre uno spaccato molto interessante del barocco boemo. Anche perché vista la scarsità degli avventori, si tratta di una visita molto piacevole e rilassante.

A well organized and well presented collection of 17th and 18th centuries art, including works by Hans von Aachen, Bartholomaeus Spranger, Roelant Savery, Michael Willmann, Johann Christoph Liška, Wenzel Lorenz Reiner, Anton Kern, Johann Peter Molitor, and Norbert Grund. Wide exposition to Baroque painting in Bohemia represented here by Karel Škréta, Johann Kupecký and Peter Brandl. Written panels are informative, and the works are in top condition.

This gallery is part of the National Gallery of Prague and is housed in a fabulous Renaissance Palace which has been owned a various times by most of the Noble families of Prague. It is almost worth visiting the gallery just to see the palace. The gallery houses a collection of works from Bohemia from the 16th to the end of the 18th century. It also holds a wonderful collection of wooden carvings from various churches and palaces.

Очень понравился дворец внешне - впечатлила техника украшения дома - сграффито.Находится дворец на Градчанской площади, рядом со входом в Пражский град.Внутри не была.

There are so few people visiting such wonderful art. Please take care though not to go too close to the artwork as we saw a rather over zealous gallery attendent grab someone aggressively.

Dans un magnifique palais à proximité immédiate du château, sont présentées les collections tchèques de la galerie nationale et plus particulièrement le baroque tchèque.Mais mon gros coup de coeur est pour la splendide collection d'armes et armures du 15 au 19 ème siècles.La plus belle collection après celle du musée dédié à Leeds.Cette collection rarement citée dans les guides est somptueuse et mérite absolument d'être vue.

The Castle district is one of Pragues major tourist destinations and the Schwarzenberg Palace is one of the most beautiful buildings in an area of outstanding architecture. The palace looks amazing and you can see the Italian influence of the architecture of this beautiful Renaissance building. The palace is massive and is well worth the tour here but expect crowds as this palace and exhibitions are extremely popular. A lovely looking building and good tour and well worth checking out.

Des oeuvres étonnantes dans un cadre extraordinaire, alliant modernité dans une ancienne structure. Faire tous les étages, y compris la magnifique collection d'armes sous les combles. Personnel fort sympathique.
